Heyyyyy I'm Taylor Johnson, (copy)writer, creative, digital storyteller, and PROUD MARYLANDER🦀
I’m a proud graduate of East Carolina University, where I earned my B.S. in Communication with a focus in media studies and a film studies minor. While at ECU, I kept busy (in the best way) as student manager for the ECU Women’s Basketball Team (2023 AAC Tournament Champs!) to interning as a copywriter for ECU Global Affairs and a social media intern for the ECU Grad School.
I'm also a proud graduate of Florida International University where I earned my M.S. in Mass Communication as part of the Global Strategic Communications Program on the Creative Track with a Copywriting concentration.
In addition to studying at FIU, I built a diverse copywriting portfolio at Miami Ad School and was the digital media intern at the Kopenhaver Center for the Advancement of Women in Communication, where I created digital content that empowers and inspires.
During my graduate studies I earned a Clio award in the category Use of Fashion and Beauty and a One Club Miami award in the design category for my Stanley Flame Quencher project.
Because I love staying so busy I also write for WHIMZY Magazine, a Miami-based fashion, culture, and music magazine.
I’m all about storytelling that sticks, whether it’s a clever campaign line, a social caption with heart, or an idea that makes people smile.
